This 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of the most spectacular national parks in Africa situated in the south western part of Uganda. , The safari will take you to the most engrossing encounter with gigantic apes- Mountain gorillas housed in the precious Bwindi Impenetrable forest one of Uganda’s oldest forests in the country. With the park housing almost half of the world’s total species of the mountain gorillas (440 Mountain Gorillas), gorilla trekking safaris form the major safaris mainly enjoyed by tourists on their Uganda safaris to Bwindi. The highly rewarding three day Uganda gorilla Tour will start and end in Kampala.

Description:

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National.

On the first day, 0ur experienced driver guide will pick you up from your Kampala place of stay, and then depart from Kampala by road and head south-West through Masaka-Mbarara High way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Have a stopover for marvelous water experiment and photographic opportunity at the Uganda Equator Crossing Kayabwe and then proceed to Igongo Cultural Centre for Lunch. Travel through the rolling winding hills and terraced landscapes of western region and head to the National Park.

Accommodation: Chameleon Hill Lodge (Upmarket/Luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp (Midrange/Standard) or Broadbill Forest Camp (Budget/Basic).

Day 2: Do gorilla trekking & an evening Cultural encounter with the Batwa Communities.

Early morning after hearty breakfast, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trekkers in a briefing about the etiquettes of Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After briefing, you will enter the jungle to trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take between 2-8hours depending on the movement of the apes. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Once up-close to the apes, you will be given one magical hour to View and interact with these stunning apes plus taking photographs. Retire back to the starting point after the one hour and proceed to your lodge for a late lunch and relaxation. Thereafter, embark on an evening community walk to visit the native Batwa community and have a cultural encounter. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala/Entebbe.

After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on drive back to Kampala Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home. You will pass through Mbarara town having your lunch stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre and then proceed to Mpabire where you will have view of the traditional drums made by the local drummers and also enjoy drumming session. Thereafter, drive to Kampala and on arrival, the driver guide will drive you back to your lodge or Entebbe international Airport for your onward flight back home.
