The 3 days Queen Elizabeth tour is short Uganda wildlife safari that will offer you an opportunity to enjoy the views of unique wildlife species. The tour will allow you to enjoy different tourist’s activities such as water experiment at the Uganda equator in Kayabwe, game viewing in queen national park, boat ride in Queen Elizabeth Park. Expect to see the famous big four including the elephant, Buffalos, Lions. Have a glimpse at the Uganda Kobs, Hyenas Bush bucks, Giant forest hog and waterbucks. In the afternoon hours you will partake in a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles and number of bird species including the pelican and Jacana species.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park & enroute stopover at the Equator

After your early morning cup of coffee, you will be picked up by our professional guide and embark on 417kms about 6-7 hours’ drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Uganda’s finest wildlife safari destination. On your way to Queen, you will by-pass Mpigi village, famous for the Royal Drums Makers and have stop over at the Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe, where you will enjoy delightful water experiment, take photos and shop for a souvenir. Thereafter, you will advance with the drive to Igongo cultural Centre where you will have stopover for lunch and museum tour. Continue with the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving late in the evening like at 6-7pm and drive to your pre-booked lodge for Diner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Do an Early Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

After your early morning cup of coffee, like at 6:00am, embark on thrilling game drive in the rolling savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you through Kasenyi with the opportunities of meeting the nocturnal wildlife species when they are retreating back to their hiding grounds and also meet the early morning risers when they are starting their daily activities of looking for food. The ranges of wild game which may be seen during the game drive include the elusive leopard, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, Side stripped Jackal; Oribis elephants, lions, buffaloes, Antelopes among others. The tracks are well designed to increase your possibilities of encountering wild game in their natural habitat of Queen Elizabeth National Park. After 3 -4 hours game drives; retire back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After having a thrilling lunch, embark on the rewarding boat cruise on the 45km long Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. The 2 hour boat cruise opens your possibilities of enjoying the calm channel waters filled with counts of Hippos no wonder the channel is called the Paradise of Hippos. The other sights of water birds and the Nile crocodiles may not be missed. Retire in the evening at 5pm to connect to the lodge for overnight. Day 3: Early Morning chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura Gorge &Transfer to Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, embark on an interesting early morning chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura gorge that starts from 8:00pm .The Kyambura Gorge chimpanzee experience is more than exploring chimpanzees in their natural environment, the activity stretches an extra mile to teach you about the ecosystems of Kyambura Gorge’s atmospheric “underground” rainforest, including vegetation types; bird identification and behavior; and chimp and monkey ecology. While at the site, you stand a pretty good chance of hearing and seeing our distant cousins-Chimpanzees as they are habituated. The activity which lasts between 2-3 hours is very fascinating. After the activity, drive to Fort portal for lunch and thereafter advance with the drive to Kampala. On arrival, the drive guide will drop you to your Kampala hotel or Entebbe international airport for your onward flight back home.
