This 3 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari is one of the short memorable gorilla tours organized for you to have life time experience of trekking the mountain gorillas. The safari takes you into the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which protects almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. In addition to trekking the mountain gorillas in Uganda, the safari will offer you an opportunity to participate in different activities like local community tours, bird watching, forest walks and also encounter the Uganda Equator at Kayabwe.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Early in the morning, you will meet your English speaking driver guide in your Kampala place of stay and depart from Kampala at 6:00am to south western Uganda about 530kms. Have a brief stop at the Equator for wonderful water experiments, photographic opportunity and visit to Africa craft shops. Proceed with the drive to Igongo Cultural Centre for traditional Ugandan lunch stopover and thereafter, continue with the journey to Bwindi. The travel will afford you views of the long horned Ankole cattle, in Mbarara, the rolling hills, terraced landscapes and the beautiful panorama of Kabale. Arrive late evening to the park and drive direct to your pre-booked lodge to check-in, have dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Chameleon Hill Lodge (Upmarket/Luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp (Mid-range/Standard), Broadbill Forest Camp (Budget/Basic).

Day 2: Early Morning Mountain Gorillas& an evening Cultural encounter with the Batwa Communities.

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trekkers in a briefing about the etiquettes of Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After briefing, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start a 2 – 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. This strenuous quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorilla. Once up-close to the apes, you will be given one magical hour to View and interact with these stunning apes plus taking photographs. Retire back to the starting point after the one hour and proceed to your lodge for late lunch and relaxation. Thereafter, embark on an evening community walk to visit the native Batwa community and have a cultural encounter. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala/Entebbe.

Following an early morning breakfast in your place of stay in Bwindi, you will embark on drive transfer to Kampala. The long drive will take you through the magnificent terraced landscapes and the beautiful panorama of Kabale to Mbarara district. You will have stopover for thrilling Traditional Lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre and there after advance with the drive to Kampala. On your way, you will by-pass Mpigi village, famous for the Royal Drums Makers and of course the Ugandan Equator, where you will have stopover for photo shot and shop for a souvenir, water experiments.  Thereafter, continue with the drive to Kampala. On arrival to Kampala, the driver guide will drive you direct to your lodge or Entebbe international Airport for your Scheduled flight back home.
