At the park, you will be divided in groups of 8 trekkers who only authorized to trek one habituated Chimpanzee group. After briefing, you will be led by the ranger guide through the beautiful forest trail to trek the fascinating chimpanzee creatures. Along the trails you may enjoy the nice melodies of different bird species housed in the forest and you may also have chance to enjoy the views of other primates like grey-cheeked mangabey, monkeys among others. The activity takes between 2-6 hours but experienced guides will also make sure that they take you where you will have to encounter the primates as fast as possible. Face to face encounter with the chimpanzees is very amazing because you will observe them play, feed and rest. Day 6: Do Gorilla Trekking & Cultural encounters.

After an early morning hearty breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters for an early morning briefing  regarding gorilla trekking etiquettes in Volcanoes Park. While at the park headquarters, you will meet other trekkers and you will be divided in groups of eight individuals who are allowed to trek one habituated mountain gorilla group. After briefing, you will be led by ranger guide to hike through the verdant jungle searching for mountain gorillas. The activity which will take 2-8 hours needs someone to be physical fit since it involves a lot of hiking the hills and slopping the Valleys. Gorilla trekking process is tedious but impressive when you finally set your small eyes direct to bit big round eyes of the mountain gorillas. When you eventually meet the gorillas, you will  be allowed one hour with them, seeing them feed, play and look for their young ones. While staying with the gorillas, you will be required to maintain a distance of 7 meters away, also turn off the flash of your camera as you take pictures. Right after one hour, you will retire back to the starting point and transfer to your lodge for late lunch and relaxation. After lunch, embark on cultural encounter with the local communities. Afterwards continue to Fort Portal and on arrival to the town dubbed to be Uganda’s tourism town, have stopover for lunch after which you will continue to do the Fort Portal Crater Lake Hike to gain impressive views of the Fort Portal explosion crater. The drive will take you through Kasenyi tracks with the opportunities of meeting the nocturnal wildlife species when they are retreating back to their hiding grounds and also meet the early morning risers when they are starting their daily activities of looking for food. Day 5: Do gorilla trekking & an evening Cultural encounter with the Batwa Communities.

Right after an early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trekkers in an early morning briefing about the etiquettes of Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. As soon as the briefing is done, you will enter the jungle to trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas. The trek may take you between 2-8 hours to encounter the Mountain gorillas and this will mainly depend on the movement of the apes. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Once up-close to the apes, you will be given one magical hour to View and interact with these stunning apes plus taking photographs. Retire back to the starting point after the one hour and proceed to your lodge for a late lunch and relaxation. Thereafter proceed with the drive through Mabira forest-the only forest reserve with over 100 species of large moths,218 butterfly fauna, 300 species of birds e.g. blue swallow, papyrus gonolek and the nahan francolins, the purple throated cuckoo .On arrival at Jinja, you will head to Sunset Hotel in Jinja where you will have short stopover for lunch. Thereafter lunch, continue to explore the White Nile which is 7 times the volume of the great Zambezi and yet the longest river in the whole of Africa. Visit the impressive Bujagali Lake and have an opportunity to see the dazzling white water of the River Nile squeezing its way through the rocks. In addition, you will see the true Jinja rafting source of the River Nile, the exact point where this river starts its long journey across the African continent. After the adventurous experience in Jinja, drive back to Kampala later in the day. Dine and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 4: Transfer to Fort Portal & Afternoon visit to Karambi tombs, King’s palace in Fort Portal, Local Markets.

After breakfast in your Kampala hotel, you will depart Kampala driving on the south western direction to Fort Portal 332km about 4-5 hours’ drive. The drive will take you through the impressive sceneries and along the way, you will visit the Nakayima tree found in Mubende, and there you will be narrated the fascinating tales about the history of this impressive tree. Afterwards continue to Fort Portal and on arrival to the town dubbed to be Uganda’s tourism town-FortPortal, you will embark on exploring interesting sites such as Karambi tombs, the Batooro King’s palace, and Fort portal local markets , go for a community walk to the neighboring villages. After exploring the sites, you will retire back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Early Morning Fort portal Crater Lake Hike, Visit to Amabere ga’Nnyinamwiru & Afternoon Bigodi Wetland walk

Right after your early morning breakfast, you will continue to do the Fort Portal Crater Lake Hike to gain impressive views of the Fort Portal explosion crater. You will also visit the Amabere g’ Nnyinamwiru caves with a magical Nyakasura River falling over them forming beautiful water fall. The caves have breast like features which the locals attach a great cultural connotation and are thought to date back to the Chwezi era. Thereafter, you will retire to your lodge for lunch and thereafter transfer to Bigodi wetland. The Bigodi wetland, lies in close distance to Kibale forest national park thus connecting there is less hectic. The Bigodi wetland walk exposes you to typical eco –tourism encounter in Uganda and along the trails you may enjoy the impressive flora and fauna existing along with the local community. The walk will take you through surrounding communities within Kibale forest park where you will have an opportunity to learn different community activities, visit community schools, health centers, home steads among other interesting activities. Retreat back from the activity to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Early Morning Chimpanzee trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After an early morning breakfast, embark on the memorable Chimpanzee trekking encounter in the natural habitat of primate Capital of the world – the Kibale Forest National Park. The Park is proud of 13 primate species including the world endangered species of the Chimpanzees which have been fully habituated increasing the chance of encountering them. The chimp trekking encounter in the primates Capital will start at Kanyanchu tourism center at 8:00am local time in the morning and the experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority Park rangers will lead you throughout the whole rewarding processes of trekking the Chimps in their natural Habitat. The trek will expose you to stunning flora, other primate species including black and white colobus monkey and birds before meeting face to face with the chimps. Upon meeting the Chimps, you will be allocated one hour to spend with them and during this hour, the chimps will lure you in a state of amazement as they swing through the branches, make pant hooting calls, play with each other, and imitate your body language along with other features that will make your one full hour with them a memorable experience of its own. Retreat from the activity to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After lunch, embark on the transfer drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park 157km about 3 hours’ drive excluding stops en route. You will make a stop at Rwenzori Art foundation – the only bronze casting center in Africa in the shadows of Rwenzori Mountains. The process of sculpture making of which you will be free to participate in will be rewarding. The extension to visit the Ruboni community wax and craft center expose you the local traditions and the applicability of indigenous knowledge to contemporary development. Continue to the Queen Elizabeth National park driving through the crater where you may enjoy the views of the olive baboons and elephants not forgetting magical sceneries before connecting to your pre-booked lodge to check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Do an Early Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

After your early morning cup of coffee, like at 6:00am, embark on thrilling game drive in the rolling savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you through Kasenyi tracks with the opportunities of meeting the nocturnal wildlife species when they are retreating back to their hiding grounds and also meet the early morning risers when they are starting their daily activities of looking for food. The ranges of wild game which may be seen during the game drive include the elusive leopard, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, Side stripped Jackal; Oribis elephants, lions, buffaloes, Antelopes among others. The tracks are well designed to increase your possibilities of encountering wild game in their natural habitat of Queen Elizabeth National Park. After 3 -4 hours game drives; retire back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After having a thrilling lunch, embark on the rewarding boat cruise on the 45km long Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on transfer from Queen Elizabeth national park to Mbarara town. On arrival at the town, you will have your lunch at Lake View hotel and thereafter embark on afternoon visit to different Mbarara cultural sites like the Banyankole Kingdom shrines, Igongo cultural centre,visit some Banyankole homesteads to further learn about their fascinating culture, lifestyle and their general practices, and then visit orphanage homes plus women groups. Thereafter, retire back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 9: Transfer to Kampala with enrounte stopover at Uganda Equator, Mpambire drum Makers & Departure.

Following your early morning breakfast, drive back to the Kampala capital City. Along the way, you will have stopover at the Uganda Equator at Kayabwe where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photographs, Buy some crafts as souvenirs and also stop at the Mpambire drum village for drumming session. Thereafter, proceed to Kampala and on arrival, you will have your lunch and afterwards be transferred to Entebbe international airport for your scheduled flight back home.
